Really well made drill found in St. Clair County Missouri made of Burlington chert possibly heat treated. It is a contracting stem type Late Archaic or Early Woodland Period.
It displays really nice having excellent symmetry and lots of patina and mineralization. It has a mineral line in the material about a third of the way up from the bottom. So it's not broke.
