Well made three quater grooved axe found near Dewitt Missouri in Carroll County by N. Winfree in the 1950s. It is 4-5/8" long lots of patina and mineralization. It has a very sharp bit with light polish. It has a plow scar across one face of the axe and some type of stain and writing on the surface which is faded. Could probably be cleaned with acetone.
